Identified — We have received the following update from Century Link: "The network is engineered to withstand a single fault in the backbone. Today, there were multiple fiber cuts that created this unique situation resulting in abnormal loss and latency inside the backbone of the CenturyLink network. The network rerouted traffic as designed around the cuts and additional traffic engineering has taken place to mitigate latency observed on IP services. Preparations are underway and splicing activities are expected to begin in the next 30-minutes on one of the damaged cables. As these fiber cuts are repaired continued improvements will be seen as traffic shifts to the most optimal path per design. These fiber cuts have been escalated to the highest levels and all essential repair teams are engaged and focused on the most expeditious means of repair." ETA on the repair is 11pm CST. More updates will follow as they are received.

Identified — Century Link continues to work on the fiber repair with no ETA. Crexendo made a network change and removed all inbound network carriers that use Level 3 / Century Link for routing. We have seen a 10% improvement to call quality. We continue to monitor the situation and will post updates as they are received.

Identified — Century Link has identified a fiber cut on the main backbone that is causing issues nationwide. Repairs are underway, however, no ETA is available. We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates as they become available.

Identified — Century Link is reporting a massive service outage. A map of the outage reports can be found here: https://downdetector.com/status/centurylink/map/ The outage is causing quality issues for some of our customers. Crexendo systems are running at 100% and our carriers and service are online and fully operational, however, some of our customers might be experiencing issues connecting and using our services. We are aware of the situation and monitoring Century LInk as they work to repair the outage.
